An all-inclusive weekend retreat offering the chance to enjoy the creative process weaving an enchanting interior together in which to rest, relax and dine well in good company. Then return home recharged with inspiration, enthusiasm and a renewed zest for life.
Immersing yourself in an exciting atmosphere of creative collaboration you’ll learn more about the secret to successful container planting including the importance of soil structure, choosing the right plants for your pot and how to keep it fresh and vibrant throughout the year.
You’ll take the plunge too into interior styling with foraged finds and vintage pieces, scouring the gardens and grounds of Ennys for natural treasure and returning to the Orangerie to style your finds with Faded Vintage. In collaboration we will create mini kokodama, natural place settings and floral table pieces, weaving them with vintage objects into one harmonious tableau.
There will be opportunities too to gather your own posy of flowers and greenery from the gardens and experience how even in a simple jam jar, the curves of a stem, the delicacy of a flower head and the froth of a few herbs can take on a new beauty.
As the day progresses, all the elements will come together to create a magical space in which to dine on Saturday evening. Surrounded by flowers, friends and candlelight, a table laden with delicious dishes using fresh and local produce, it will be a space in which to enjoy the fruits of your labour and a celebration of a new found creativity.
After brunch together on Sunday, you will be free to enjoy time to yourself, take a swim in the outdoor pool, head for the beach, enjoy a trip into Penzance or a sea swim at Prussia Cove. When you leave, we hope you will not only feel re-energised but that you will also leave with the inspiration and confidence to gather, forage and style your own table settings and window tableaux at home.
