Godolphin Studio Suite

Godolphin is a beautiful open plan studio suite on the first floor accessed via the original granite steps used to reach the hayloft. Ideal for short breaks, it features a large, light-filled bedroom with bath and separate shower as well as a comfortable living room with sofa, dining table, and small kitchen space.

Indoors

First climb the historic stone steps, taking the time to enjoy the views across the tree tops and listen to the birds. Once through the door, the sitting room to the right is furnished with a plush sofa, dining table and well-equipped galley kitchen. Afternoon and evening sun pours through the west facing cottage window filling the room with light and warmth.

To the left, the studio leads through to an inviting bedroom with a super-king bed and bathtub to one end. A luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower and underfloor heating completes the picture.

Outdoors

Guests are invited to take advantage of the various outdoor seating options scattered throughout the grounds. Lounge by the pool, enjoy coffee in the courtyard garden or the potager or alternatively take a picnic blanket and find a sunny secluded spot in the newly planted vineyard or one of the fields.

Arrival time
Like Mary Poppins with her carpet bag, we like to make sure that our cottages are spick and span for you at the start of your holiday. As it takes time to whisk away every vestige of dust and smooth every crease, please do not arrive any earlier than 17.00 hours on your first day.
Departure time
Although packing up at the end of a holiday can be a challenge, please make sure you have left us by 10:00 hours to give us time to prepare the cottages for our next guests.
