Well Cottage

Well Cottage is a pretty, individual cottage stylishly modelled to provide comfortable living for two people. It is ideal for couples seeking a short break away from city living or a longer rural retreat.

Converted 30 years ago from a stone animal shelter, it has recently been fully modernised and refurbished with a thoughtful mix of contemporary appliances sitting alongside antique and vintage pieces. Colour palettes are soft and muted with a mix of grey and off-whites brought to life with splashes of jewel beetle green, Moroccan pink and Sanderson archive prints.

Indoors

On the ground floor, a spacious galley kitchen is fitted with an Everhot electric stove, quartz worktop, and small breakfast bar. Fully equipped with Smeg kettle and toaster, Grind coffee pod machine, fridge, dishwasher and White Company crockery, it is time to treat yourself.

Leading through to the living room, the cottage opens out into a beautiful space characterised by its full height into the roofspace. Underfloor heating and a Wiking wood burner are complemented by comfortable seating and a big leather armchair to create a room where you can immediately relax and unwind.

Upstairs in the galleried bedroom, enjoy the way the sunlight flickers through the windows and catches the walls or watch the sky at night from your king-sized double bed.

Last but not least, the small but mighty ground floor bathroom features a gorgeous walk-in shower, underfloor heating and high-quality fittings.

Outdoors

Perfect for holidaying in Cornwall, a covered terrace to the front of the cottage offers oodles of space to store wet suits, surf boards, bikes and boots.

To the rear of the cottage, a small private garden leads out from living room. Mainly laid to grass it offers beautiful rural views and direct access to the fields through its own wooden gate. Meanwhile a sunken terrace offers the perfect sheltered space from which to enjoy a glass of wine while you watch the sunset.

Arrival time
Like Mary Poppins with her carpet bag, we like to make sure that our cottages are spick and span for you at the start of your holiday. As it takes time to whisk away every vestige of dust and smooth every crease, please do not arrive any earlier than 17.00 hours on your first day.
Departure time
Although packing up at the end of a holiday can be a challenge, please make sure you have left us by 10:00 hours to give us time to prepare the cottages for our next guests.
